General newsPublic worship resumes from this weekend! We are back (more or less) to our normal pattern of services - do come and join us! Changes to service times: Saturday morning masses have moved from 9.30am to 10.00am. Coffee mornings continue each Tuesday on Zoom: please contact Fr. Joshua for details. Coronavirus roadmap - how it affects churchSome people have been asking how the Government "roadmap" out of lockdown will affect us. While there are a lot of uncertainties, we believe it to work as follows:
Not before 29th March: Weddings can take place with six guests. Wakes after funerals may take place, also with six guests (but not in private homes). Not before 12th April: Weddings and receptions can take place with up to fifteen guests. Not before 17th May: Baptisms, weddings and receptions can take place with up to thirty guests. Not before 21st June: "Life events" such as baptisms, weddings and funerals may take place without restrictions on numbers. This is also the stage when most other restrictions on worship are expected to be lifted. |
